The mighty Bison were almost extinct by the turn of the last century. Efforts from many special people and organizations fought to bring them back. At Theodore Roosevelt National Park, outside of Medora ND, you will find several herds roaming the badlands. The largest Bison becomes the chief and he rules the park!
